I always heard about BlenderBottle but I wanted to shop around before buying the only brand I was familiar with. I decided to go ahead and try out the Tactical Revive Shaker (ordered in "Army Green"). Initially what drew me to this specific shaker was the… read more design and functionality of it. I've tried other shakers before but they always seemed over-sized for no reason. Practically speaking, you're not going to use the entire volume of a traditional 30oz shaker and the 20oz capacity of this one is perfect for me. It's not too bulky, fits easily in your bag or shelf, and boasts some very nice features! I love the stackable compartment! It easily attaches and detaches from the bottle when not in use. Seeing other designs of shakers with compartments, this one is well designed! It's not a threaded style attachment, rather, it locks in very easily with one quick twist. It can hold anything from almonds, lemon, vitamins, powder, or anything else you need on the go quite easily. Even when the compartment is not attached, this bottle does not have any ugly seams or threads sticking out. I also love the design of the grips and the placement of them are strategically placed. When you detach the lower compartment, the grips around the base help hold your bottle really well! At the same time, the grips also help you remove or attach the compartment when needed. A+ for design! The rubber grips around the bottle (found on the base, the compartment lid, bottle lid, as well as the hook/handle) actually make a huge difference and aren't just a gimmick. The mixing element ("diffuser/spurs") actually does a great job mixing even the most stubborn of protein powders! I tested it by adding about 1/2 of the water I usually add along with one full serving of protein powder and the mixture dissolved rather quickly and effectively! In about 30 seconds, you'll have a finely mixed protein shake that isn't full of clumps. It's a great design but one minor concern I have is how long the diffuser will be able to keep attached to the bottle lid (it isn't threaded on like the lid or compartment, it simply is pressed in to attach). It comes apart easily when cleaning and so far there aren't any major concerns. Lastly, the bottle does not leak one bit. I've done a rigorous shake test with this thing and didn't notice any drips at all. I can confidently shake this thing over a white carpet and not worry about it spilling on me. This alone speaks to the build quality of the bottle and the (hopeful) longevity of it. It's very easy to clean and is easily the best shaker I've owned. The plastic is not as heavy and thick as BlenderBottle but it does not need to be. P.S. if you're an Xbox or Halo fan, definitely order the Army Green colour :) I know it's just a shaker bottle but I was so impressed with it that I had to share my thoughts (even though I probably wrote too much lol).

I like the bottom compartment for transporting that extra scoop of bro-tein powder to work or the gym.

I ordered buy one get one free and the lid on both products will not close and leaks when used. Going to have to buy a different brand somewhere else now. Wasted money

Grate shaker!!!  Easy to carry my powder or other supplements in.  Shaker works great mixes protein well and so far no leaks.   Even better at the price I was able to picking for on MS.
