NOW® Vitamin C-1000 was specially formulated to provide a sustained release of vitamin C and includes rose hips as an added source of vitamin C. I take one of these in the morning with my regular daily vitamin. I believe it helps me absorb iron better. At a doctor visit I was pleased to discover that after taking the Vitamin C at 8am, my urine still contained Vitamin C at 4pm. The "sustained release" appears to be true.
