This product was recommended on a dermatillomania Facebook group. I thought it was probably another snake oil. Folks said to give it 9 weeks. It wasn't expensive, so I bought 2 more bottles (on sale) to fill in the 9 weeks. I don't know if this is the NAC but at 9 weeks almost to the day, I have been able to resist picking my skin!
